Dear Lazyweb
Dear Lazyweb,
I've been trying for the past 15 minutes with no success to find a comic that someone linked me probably a year ago. I believe it is four panels, and it talks about the stages of an inside joke; it's funny initially, funny for a while, wears off, and then is funny as hell later.
The example that they gave was, I believe, Fats Domino and Chubby Checker, and extrapolating from those names to get other musician names that sound like they would be... weighty. It culminated in a one friend going to the other friend's funeral, and reading a poem by one of the friend's "favorite authors", who had a name of that sort.
This is now bothering me quite a bit that I can't find it. Did I make it up? I found the comic hilarious, because I have many in-jokes that go exactly through those four stages... Does anyone know of this comic off the top of their head? (I'm kind of hoping someone like
chrisamaphone will...)
