I don't usually bring my camera to Death Guild because it is far more fun to participate. But White Guild was good in a bunch of ways: it was something different (and worth capturing); I didn't want to expend too much energy since I'd to get up the next day; and I was thermally limited, since my white shirt demanded an undershirt!
I didn't entirely capture what I had hoped to -- the contrast between goths wearing black, and goths wearing white. But, that may be because what I had hoped to capture was not really there... temporal contrast between a scene and one's memory of a scene seems not to fit all that well on an image sensor. Since I didn't capture what wasn't there, I guess that just goes to show that photography works, I suppose...
